The conventions of spatial representation in painting and sculpture is an enduring interest for me and informs my art practice. In this collection of works in the mediums of painting, sculpture and drawing, I've attempted to play with these conventions to produce works that exploit the dialectic tension between pictorial and sculptural space. The imagery is derived from domestic spatial planes, such as tables, floors, walls and and mirrors and also, from ordinary objects from my personal collection of found objects. Many of these objects come from the period of my childhood, the 1960's.
